Crossrigg Goldstar is now owned by Elfyn and Lynne Thomas of Foxhole Farm, St Clears, Carmarthenshire, (Saintclear Herd).

Crossrigg Goldstar was classified EX92 on 30th November 2011 at 2 years and 2 weeks old. He was born on 17th November 2009 in the Crossrigg Herd of F Harrison and Sons, Cliburn, Penrith, Cumbria.

Crossrigg Goldstar's Sire is Braedale Goldwyn and his Dam is Crossrigg Lucy 18 VG89 second calver.  Crossrigg Lucy 18 is by Canyon Breeze Allen.  Crossrigg Goldstar's Grandam is Ewefield's Lucy 16 EX94(5) and his Gt Grandam is Ewefields Lucy EX96(5).

Crossrigg Goldstar EX92 is the youngest animal EVER in the Holstein Breed in the UK and under the new HUKI scoring to be classified EX92!!!!

Crossrigg Holsteins will be showing at The Northern Expo Dairy Show, undoubtedly one of the best and most popular one day Holstein shows in the UK.  It is scheduled to go ahead in its 29th year on the evening of Friday 21st October 2011 within Borderway Mart, Carlisle.

WE WILL SEE YOU THERE WITH SOMETHING SPECIAL UP OUR SLEEVE!!!!

In total there were 16 cows and 7 heifers classified.  4 cows went EX, 1 went VG, 1 went GP.  All together a very satisfying visit from the classifier.

Having won 1st's and 2nd's throughout the county in 2009, Crossrigg Altitude Tilly has grown into a lovely well balanced Cow.  Her pedigree is tremendous with EX going back generations! 

Crossrigg Altitude Tilly, a February 2008 born heifer by KHW Elm-Park Acme and out of an 8^th lactation, 100 tonne 88 point Rudolph which was purchased from Alan Bristow’s “Alanta” dispersal sale. Her grandmother was imported from Canada at took the Champion Heifer award at the royal show back in 1989. Tilly calved three months ago and is currently giving 40kgs daily. This phenomenal heifer went on to collect the Junior Champion and Exhibitor Bred Junior Championship awards.

Richaven Majestic, the Goldwyn son of Richaven Mattador Squaw EX92 2E, was classified EX92 points on Thursday 20th May 2010, his third birthday.

Majestic was born in the Richaven herd of Richard and Dawn Bown on the 20th May 2009.  Majestic is the stock bull in the Crossrigg herd and his semen is marketed by Foundation Sires UK.

Latitude VG88 is the son of Crossrigg Lucy 18 VG87 by KHW Elm-Park Acme EX90.

An outstanding young sire with the power of Lucy who is already setting records with his semen production and fertility.
